Krum Car Inspection Station
Kwik Kar is an Official Vehicle Inspection Station for the state of Texas. All vehicles are required to receive an inspection every year. Vehicle inspections include a comprehensive safety inspection; however, some vehicles are required to have an emissions test in addition to the safety inspection. Diesel-powered vehicles and motorcycles are exempt from the emissions standards but are still required to have the annual safety inspection.

Krum
Krum is a city located exactly in the county of Denton, in the state of Texas. In the population census conducted in 2010 it was determined that the population was 4,157 habitants, and a population density of 652.42 habitants per km². It is important to mention that in only 20 years, the total population has doubled. However, as of 2019, it is estimated that this city had a total population of 5,018. Krum has a total area of 6.37 km²; of which 6.36 km² belong to dry land, i.e. only 0.2% of the total area is water.
Short History
Primarily, this city was practically founded thanks to a railroad. The Gulf, Colorado and Santa Fe Railroad in 1884 had a “route” through Denton County. Then, in the year 1886 a company purchased 200 acres for the construction of several businesses. Later that same year, the community was named. Later, a merchandise store was built. And years later, specifically in 1888, a post office was built in the city. In the year 1891 a pharmacy was built for the whole community. This city really developed rapidly, and all this was thanks to all the constructions that were carried out in a short period of time. In 1892 the number of citizens began to increase.
What Does This City Have to Offer?
Education is truly one of the most important issues in this city. Krum has five public schools. In addition, this city offers soccer in all schools. In fact, the official soccer team of this city has been literally undefeated for years. But, that’s not all, the citizens of Krum managed to pass an excellent bond that allowed them to build a soccer stadium. In addition, they were also able to expand the gymnasium area. In fact, the citizens of Krum are planning to implement a volleyball program.
